Why do you always have to go to the new toll

you don’t have to – the country roads are almost all toll-free… and there’s a real toll just when you drive through high mountains. There the roads are extremely maintenance-intensive and therefore extra is required here. It’s free to drive over the pass. But at the price of the Sprit this is not cheaper….

inde I really fucked and in Germany we can do it without that nonsense.

more bad than right… Motorways are significantly better from the state in Austria, there are much more resting stations with well maintained toilets etc. This is due to the fact that the motorway “Maut” does not get the state but the Asfinag – and this is ONLY responsible for obtaining the motorways. The whole money of the toll thus flows into the construction and renovation of new highways and is not used for anything else.

Why don’t you pay tax?

Because no taxpayers can be used to finance a private company such as the Asfinag. Otherwise, the hairdresser could also come and want tax money from the state – it is just as a private company as the company which supervises the motorways

The shares of Asfinag belong to the state.

belong yes – but it is managed like a private company

The Austrian infrastructure company ASFINAG as a transport policy model – Economic service

The ASFINAG is fully owned by the Republic of Austria, but will be in the EU according to the European System of National Accounts (ESA) 1995 trotz 100% ownership of the covenants and State guarantee for debt the private sector. The ASFINAG is financed by toll revenue and does not receive financial subsidies from the state budget. Revenues from the sale of vignette, truck tolls and special toll roads will be reinvested in the construction, operation and safety of the road network in Austria.

I know, I just want to point it out.

Why should all people pay equally for the highways if not all people drive? Why not use primarily money from those who use it?

By the way, you can drive around the Austrian sections with a road toll, so you don’t have to pay them.

But is that really desirable? The motorways were also built to relieve the places of transit.

Well, whether I’m going through the Gleinalm Tunnel or 30km from the Bruck highway…

Sure. I did not think that in Austria, tolls must be paid in addition to the “Pikerl”. At the Arlberg I would hardly drive through the tunnel….

Because the motorways were built and financed privately abroad. Companies want to earn money

For example, it is not the case in Austria.

In some countries, the roads are privately funded and therefore require tolls for maintenance.

It should also be introduced in Germany, but so far only a lot of money has been wasted for this without the implementation of this idea.

In Austria, the Vignette is extremely cheap in contrast to all other countries, so in places that have particularly high maintenance costs must be required extra toll

Why don’t you pay tax?

Because the highways and highways are paid to 0% from taxes. Accordingly, the vignette is also not a jerk.

Why do you get it in Germany without going?

Because you seem like paying for others.

Because you have flatland.

Because you have significantly poorer equipped and poorer serviced motorways.

Not by far. Look at the accident statistics for the motorways in Austria and Germany. It is clear that the motorways in Austria are safer. In Germany, 50% more accidents happen.

That’s not true, you don’t have a tempo limit because that’s a uralt rule that’s blocked to get up the dinge. Our motorways are significantly better equipped and serviced.

Well, the Swiss vignette is even cheaper with 40 francs. However, there is no offer for 10 days or 2 months.

Germany and Flachland? Maybe between Berlin and Hamburg, but otherwise not.

Germany is not really comparable with Austria or Switzerland.

Share of Bergland:

Switzerland 90,7%

Austria 73.4%

Germany 14.7%

Of course, that’s why we even picked up for the planning of the new building line Stuttgart — Ulm engineers from Switzerland. Because they know the flat terrain best.

Your statement doesn’t make any sense at all. In addition, you asked about the toll and I explained why andzwar: Because it is financed to 0% by taxes, and the servicing and equipment or highway is generally much better. Don’t always find the best of Germany.

Trains also have to pay tolls for the use of railroads, trucks on motorways and federal roads, why should this be different for cars?
If a former Minister of Transport had not been so stupid in the project, the passenger car toll would already have been in Germany.

Because it is necessary, don’t drive a lot of car, you destroy our environment if not crying.

Then you have to bear the consequences.

Why toll abroad?

Because these states do not want to reward drivers who destroy the environment.

Not long. EU-wide toll on all roads will come due to E cars.

In France, for example, the motorways are privatized. If you were owner of a highway and would have to hold it up, you would have to pay for it from the people who want to use the highway. Or not?
