Why can't I access Internet Explorer?

Good evening,

I just reinstalled Windows 7 on my boyfriend's laptop. Whenever I try to type something into Internet Explorer, I always get an error message. What can I do?

This is because Internet Explorer is very outdated and is guaranteed Firefox duty.

If your friend on the laptop won’t do anything else except surfing the internet on the browser, then I’d go to her instead of Windows 7. Because Windows 7 is no longer supported, and one day, Firefox is no longer updated for Windows 7, which is always reusable when surfing. Therefore, I would never use Windows 7 as the main operating system in 2024.

For Internet Explorer you need – who would have thought it – Internet. Doesn’t seem to be present.

But why Windows 7, get Windows 10 or 11. This is even very cheap through third-party providers.

Or the best Linux if you only surf in the browser.

The Internet Explorer there is no more, has been replaced by Microsoft Edge.

Can’t remember the new name until today…

Are you even connected to the internet?

Apart from that:

Why not Win 10?

Yeah, as a classic fan, Win10 is a must. I don’t understand myself anymore when I constantly rejected Win 10…

Jap, at least on the worktop, under Win11 things in the context menu at the right click are a click deeper… I find unnecessary

That wasn’t the only problem: all the symbols, designs and corners were completely rounded. The right-click menu also lost everything.

Win 10 is classic and modern for me.

Well, if you center the taskbar to the left, Win11 is quite okay. But I find much slower than Win10

Yes, I think I would still use Win 7 until today if it had been installed on my new PC:

Win11 was an absolute no-go for me. With YouTube videos I only got to know Win 10 correctly, and so I was more and more enthusiastic, and then I got it.
