Why do many people buy chocolate advent calendars?
This question has been bothering me for years: Why do people buy chocolate Advent calendars? I could understand it for small children: If they want sweets, they have to ask their parents. With an Advent calendar, they at least get something sweet every day for 24 days. But I can't understand it for teenagers and adults. You can buy sweets whenever you want and as much as you want. Above all, these Advent calendars are much more expensive than "regular" sweets. So why do people buy them?
It’s a great tradition and who doesn’t love surprises? It also increases the anticipation of Christmas and sweetens the Advent season. I personally am a big fan and have an Advent calendar every year:-)
Well, the kids won’t buy the calendars themselves. Parents, aunts, uncles are here.
The exception would then be only children with pocket money that organize themselves.
And the contradiction has already been resolved. By the way, I don’t have a calendar.
Yesterday I accidentally saw a contribution about it, because someone said it was just a replacement. One has bought something to make some joy and thus has also given responsibility for something. Such a purchase is effortless. Designing an Advent calendar with 24 surprises yourself is a completely different effort.
But there are also other Advent calendars such as socks, make-up, … you can also buy them effortlessly. … And I (w22) have always got a homemade Advent calendar. It can’t be that hard, can it?
that would be the purchase for someone else – not for themselves
Oh!
Who buys one for himself? At least another couple calendar.
This idea never came to me.
I know some who buy for themselves …
Probably for the same reason that adults buy Lego, surprise eggs, plush animals and superhero figures: To feel like a child again, or from nostalgia.
Because tradition is because they like it because it’s a memory of earlier.
Because Schoki’s best.
More bad.
Depends on the calendar. In cheap things, of course, only Billischoki
Just let people do their thing. What do you care to do?
