Why is the graphics card so expensive (in comparison)?
Good day
ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 OC V2 LHR PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card, 12GB
This is the model of my GPU. But when I search for it online, prices like €700-1,000 come up.
This confuses me personally, as the 3060s are relatively cheap on the market at the moment.
Can someone enlighten me? Thanks!

This is never worth the graphics card. Even the OC with the special cooling (triple fan) makes it possibly only 5-10% faster than the stock variant, and you get it from just over 300 euros.
I can offer you my car for 100,000 euros. Is that worth it? But one of thousands of people who sees my offer may want exactly this car, which is no longer made, and is ready to pay almost any price. And voila, I won.
These are Wucher offers that aim to ensure that someone doesn’t make a price comparison or just that graphics card wants because its old one is broken (same model) and simply doesn’t know enough to know that it doesn’t matter to use another model.
Yes, I also thought, but strange that on a trusted website such prices are
My suspicion is that those who bought the graphics card were too late when prices were still exportitant high due to the bitcoin farmers, the scammer and the delivery bottle a few years ago. And this is now with those in the warehouse and they want to sell them roughly to the purchase price so they don’t make any losses. The fact that the prices have fallen sharply by now seems not to bother them, who are waiting for the stupid one who wants to pay it 🙂
In Germany it is possible to show traders about this because of anger in consumer protection.
Especially on ebay you can also demand overpriced prices.
But digitec is a trusted website?
I don’t know, I’ve never heard of it. I only order at mindfactory or Mediamarkt/Saturn (because at that time I got a good offer for my previous GraKa).

So my e-sooter costs 430 euros at the manufacturer and 470 euros on eBay. Because eBay has to pay sales fees and because they want to make profit even if it’s just a few groschen
