Why is the Ryzen 8600G cheaper than the Ryzen 7600?
At Geizhalz the 8600G costs less than the 7600.
The 8600G has an integrated graphics card, which the 7600 also has, but the 8600G is designed for it.
The base clock of the 8600G is 4.30 GHz, the turbo clock is 5.00 GHz.
The base clock of the 7600 is 3.80GHz, the turbo clock is 5.10GHz.
Is this difference so big that the price difference is justified?
Both CPUs come boxed.
Which of the two would you buy?
Here are the links to both CPUs again:

Hello HelloxD1234,
The answer is obvious why the 7600 is more expensive, right?
Because it’s the better CPU.
At the end of the day you have to decide for yourself if you don’t need the faster IGPU I don’t know what’s still great for the 8600G…

The name forgiveness at Amd is unfortunately somewhat confusing because the 8600G has the higher number than the 7600. You might think the 8600G is better.
There is neither Intel nor Nvidia better.
Yes
Hello,
the clock only means something about the power. At the end of the day, the Ryzen has 5 7600 more CPU performance. The higher price is therefore justified.

I would buy the ryzen 7600 because it is better in singlecore and I don’t need the iGPU anyway.
Do you have a dedicated graphics card in the PC or just the iGPU?
I want to build a PC and I thought if I buy the igpu I can save a little longer to buy a dedicated Gpu.
Then you have to decide if you want to have more performance or later if you buy a dedicated graphics card.
So if I had the choice, I would take the 7600.
In your case, the 8600G is very clear here.
What is the difference in performance when you look at the iGPU?
The 7600 can work with more PCIe Lanes and on a newer PCIe generation.
And he has the double L3 cache (32MB vs. 16 MB).
Furthermore, the 7600 has 5-10% more performance.
But the last point can be disastrous as I find.
But in your case, either a dedicated graphics card and the 7600 would be recommended or no dedicated graphics card and then the 8600G.
Thank you.
Oh, okay.
Because of the GPU: comes on your budget.
The 6650 XT is definitely quite usable and just one of the cheapest ones you get new.
Just chose one of the two, just because I have to take one. My question was, by the way, what Graka you would use.
You’re taking the 7600 now?
This has a much lower graphic performance (about 1/5 compared to 8600G).
But you need to know.
At the moment my Wishlist looks like this: https://geizhals.de/wishlists/4176302
My budget would be just 500€, after Christmas maybe 200-300€ more. That’s why I’m just thinking about buying the GPU later.
Which GPU would you use for the 7600, Minecraft is more like Cpu. For 200-250 €.
