Warum ist das so in One Piece?

Ich wollte fragen wie es mit der zeitlinie in One Piece ist weil wenn man z.B sagt damals war ich schwach und heute stärker aber die vergangene Handlung die als Damals bezeichnet wird vor 10 folgen passiert ist. Noch ein Beispiel ist wenn etwas in Water 7 passiert und man danach in Enies Lobby ist und man über Die Geschehnisse in Water 7 spricht bezeichnet man es als Damals. Warum ist das so? Vor wie vielen Monaten sind z.B die Geschehnisse In Water 7 passiert wenn man schon in Enies Lobby ist.

Especially when you think about the later jump of One Piece. There are 2 1/2 years skipped.
Hmmm. Got several theories:
It is a stylus of stories, films and series.
Firstly, it is possible to postpone developments later when it becomes necessary, especially in mangas.
