Why does an empty ext4 partition on Fedora 38 have no storage space?

Good day,
The installation of Fedora 38 does not work because the empty ext 4 partition supposedly has no storage space.
With the partition adjusted, I can get to the installation command, but then I get an error message saying that ext4 doesn't work without efi.
I have no idea what that means. Google's explanations aren't helping me either. Ask Fedora isn't helping me either.

A screenshot would be helpful…

For custom partition, I come to the installation command, but then error message comes that ext4 does not work without efi.

Sure – you need a Fat32 partition for /boot/efi from which the system can start. The UEFI cannot read Ext4 partitions!

A functioning scheme would be:

/ ........... 50GB (EXT4)
/boot/efi .... 1GB (FAT32 bzw. EFI-Systempartition)
swap ......... 8GB
/home ........ restlicher Speicherplatz (EXT4)

It would be good to know what the partitions look like. I still forgive SWAP because even 12GB RAM are not exactly lush. Have more love and don’t need as needed and don’t have…
