Why do I have such a bump on my gums?

Hey, I wanted to ask if it's "normal" because my gums at the back are so swollen and hurt a lot, especially in the morning when I wake up. Could it be because of the tonsillitis I currently have (I'm taking antibiotics)? And yes, I know I'm supposed to go to the doctor, etc., but I'd like to hear what you think. Oh, and could it also be because of my last wisdom teeth (I'm almost 16)? Because I only have 14 teeth down there, so 28 in total.

PS: You can see it in the picture (circled in red)

Thanks in advance!

This is exactly the position of the wisdom teeth. If they push through the gum slowly from below, it hurts. That’s harmless.

How long it hurts depends on the individual case. With me the wisdom teeth broke through in about 6 months, with others within days.

Of course, you get a reliable advice from a dentist.

Carnations can help: crumble or squeeze a clove and place it. It tastes shrill, but it’s quite good to be stunned without you being flushed with painkillers. Bio-quality is of course a good idea.

It can be that the wisdom teeth want to break through.

I would make an appointment with the dentist

It doesn’t necessarily have to be a wisdom tooth. I also have so thick salivary glands.

Well, as they are, it can be wisdom teeth. They have to get out sometime.

But please don’t like Dr. med dent Bud Spencer. Stunning with a punch on the head, finger briefly immersed in water, tooth pulled with 2 fingers.

No, wisdom teeth do not necessarily have to be pulled. I still have mine.
