how do I look after the old-fashioned mice.

the constant cleaning was such a pleasure.

and then they did not work so wonderfully on all surfaces.

(Ironie out)

So I miss definitv nothing

They worked significantly worse, were more susceptible to wear, and in general lasers etc are much more accurate etc.

Such a nonsense. You can buy a mouse for 9 Euro or even for 60 Euro, the difference then lies in quality

Less mechanical parts, less wear, less problems.

Confortable and more functional.

Because optical mice (now) are cheaper, more robust and more reliable.

The quality of the keys has nothing to do with the optical sensor. If the switches are optical, the switches hold much longer than mechanical switches.

I don’t know. You never used bullets.

Otherwise, you wouldn’t have to ask the question.

If you’re 93 years old, I think it’s very unlikely that you still bought mice with COM connection.

Finally, the PS2 connection was already in the 90s standard.

The first laser mouse was already in 2004.

And if you throw your mice away after 6 months… which I don’t believe you, because you still have warranty/guarantee… then you should spend more than 3 € for a computer mouse.

What mouse do you use that after 6 months?

I’ve been using mine for about three years and there are no problems.

A monochrome screen in the 2000s… are you very poor?

too durable, too problem-free in the function = less business for manufacturers, so away with it!

Just not… they were no less durable and also no problem….

they were completely unproblematic! Just occasionally take out the ball and clean ball and roll…

Ball valves no longer hold, but are simply worse and imprecise.

hundreds? Yeah.

I’m glad you had them, I had hundreds of them.

If you want to remember it, you will notice laser with the ball.

So the one I had, not.

No, they weren’t, they didn’t work on a number of documents, even the ball has been broken quickly, and it has become quite simply imperfect.

Yes, there is, but the ball is up and not down.

The ball or its movement is then also optically determined?
