I know this is stupid trolling.

But because it is specifically about laws: “Germany” (more precisely, the then state called “German Empire”) had its civil law almost 90(!) Year later as Austria uniformly codified. In the case of uniform criminal law too, Austria was significantly earlier (Theresiana). What is, of course, also due to the fact that the German nation state has emerged quite late.

Who wrote down from who?

Austria is not a copy of Germany, but an independent state. Thus, there are separate laws with their own names, a political system that has differences to the German system, differences in health and social systems, and so on – as in any state!

We are thankful to God not to be a copy of Piefkenesien and to the laws that are otherwise or similar: in Austria, the ABGB in Germany as civil law is the BGB. The ABGB is from 1811 the BGB of 1900 – who copied where? The legal tradition of Austrian laws usually goes back much further than that of Germany and the state organisation is another. So first informed and then write – otherwise a nonsense comes out like the question you asked.

Jesus. Austria is an independent sovereign state and not a copy.

Austria existed earlier than Germany.
