Easy answer.
A) There are still a few models
B) Probably just a streamlining of production and development, thereby achieving the same engine already developed and in production over most series.
Exactly, modular principle is also called a motor for as many models as possible.
What do you think? In MotoGP some manufacturers have installed V4 engines. Suzuki, Honda, Ducati, KTM and Aprilia also have V motors on the road bikes.
So if I go to the Honda side now I don’t see a single machine with V-engine
In fact, they filed their patent for the V4 only last year.
There are V engines, like KTM, for example.
Yes, however, and I would see KTM as a special case as well as Ducati, the Japanese have no V-motors on offer at least none of whom I know. Even Honda no longer has
Suzuki
