Then the spark plug is wet and has problems to ignite the mixture. Either you wait for a few minutes or screw the spark plug out and dry it.
many confuse baptism with strangling.
you say when the start has given too much gas or the choke has been pulled and the engine starts out due to an excessively fat mixture. (a fat mixture means much too much petrol in the air).
the choke (worms) pushes the air supply at the cold start, so that more petrol is mixed than you need. this is done because in the cold cylinder a part of the benzine in the mixture is deposited as droplets in the cold cylinder wall, and the remaining mixture would then have little bite in the air, i.e. is too lean, and therefore does not ignite.
the engine is warm, does not happen, so you start without choke. is still drawn, the mixture is much too fat.
It is difficult if the motor has run a bit, then it goes out and is now neither cold nor hot.
choke pull would then be too fat, no choke pull evtl not yet fat enough.
it helps to try a bit, and that with little or no gas, at some point you will find the point where it starts. but the spark plug is wet (it smells at the exhaust already clearly after petrol) the motor is drained.
then helps:
screw the spark plug out, dry powder or wipe, screw in again, plug on it, try again. sometimes you have to do it twice…
because the carburetor… cylinder has too much sprit! or just because the spark plug is wet!
