Why doesn't the front brake work on a Trabant 601?

A friend bought a 1988 Trabant 601 station wagon (already with coil springs in the rear) to restore, and spent three years building it up. Now the brakes on both front wheels simply don't work. All the parts are new (from Trabantwelt.de). He just doesn't know what to do. He would have liked to go to the MOT tomorrow to have it registered. He already had an appointment there, but now he'll probably have to cancel without any advice. I hope someone else comes forward who can help, so he can still go to the MOT tomorrow and have it registered. I'd appreciate any expert advice. Thank you very much!

howl is any part of a kaput.

so heavy the brake system from the Trabi is not A four-cylinder line to the front brakes and rear brakes, located to the pistons. Something’s not okay.

the error would have to be found quickly because no brake booster or anything else on technology.

But sometimes there’s a stupid question – if you have vented the system – then you have vented in front too – so it’s pressure on the line – then maybe the piston/brake cylinders of the front drum brake in the a…?

Something’s wrong. Remote diagnosis is not possible.
