Why don't the "shift" and "m" keys work?
Hello everyone,
I've been having problems with the above-mentioned keys for a few days now. It's only these two. Before that, it was just "m," and later "shift" was added. When playing CS:GO, it's not a big deal if "m" doesn't work, but things are different with "shift."
I've already tried Nvidia Experience and disabling the overlay. Shortly after rebooting, only the "m" works, and a few seconds later, nothing works anymore…
Maybe someone can help me.
Most likely a problem on the keyboard itself, as has already written.
Before you get a completely new keyboard, you can unscrew the part once and see if the soldering points of the corresponding keys are in order. It is also very common to have the problem which, for example, are contaminated by dust. You can see if you get some contact cleaner in the switch. Can also help.
Otherwise, google again your problem together with the keyboard model. Maybe you’ll find more solutions.
I guess the keyboard is over. Is there a neighbor or acquaintance you can connect to your keyboard and test it with it?
If it works, it’s on your keyboard. The Shift button could then be placed on the Capslock button:
