The SkyTrain at Düsseldorf Airport has only four stations, which are technically secured comparatively intricately (with partitions between platform and track area, sliding doors that open only after a train stops, and video surveillance by a control center).

In Wuppertal, you would have to rebuild all 20 stations accordingly, and whether this would work sufficiently trouble-free in practice is questionable.

The conversion would be very expensive and time-consuming.

is that a computer is as smart as you program it? A person can react better to unpredictable things than a computer in SAchen that could not be missed.

Night rides already fall out as the Schwebebahn is quite loud in the spas and the passenger elevator is quite limited.

The signaling technique of the suspended track is the same as in the DB in the Prinzib and is the DrS2 (print key control unit Siemens) with Selbsblock and it does not need any personnel outside a person in the center and you also need a computer control unit as it is passenger transport.
