Why one civilian and the other military?
Hello! Can someone explain why the career path to digital and print media designer in the German Armed Forces is civilian, while the training to become a video and audio media designer is military?
I'll soon be starting a degree in media informatics (not with the federal government) and would like to see how it goes. However, I'm starting to panic that my degree program might be too difficult, so I'm looking for possible alternatives as a Plan B. Since someone in my family is in the federal government, I started my orientation there because the pay is pretty good compared to other professions. What do you think?
Do you think an apprenticeship in this field would be worthwhile for the German army (more likely civilian – it would be €2,700 after training)? Unfortunately, I'm not athletic, but I'm already losing weight, but of course, it takes time. And there are really good benefits.
