Why do you get pressure pain in your left hand when cycling?

Hello, after a certain amount of time, I always get pressure pain in the palm of my left hand. Is this normal? I've never had it before.

Because one tends to bend a bit forward during cycling and thus creates pressure on the hands and also keeps the handlebar quite firm, special pressure arises on the hands, which can hurt. Many riders and especially racing cyclists therefore also wear gloves.
