In the forest it is so that the deer especially eats the rare trees and then lose the growth war against the spruce.

Especially in inter find deer and co too little food. Then these preferably young branches and bark of trees. The trees suffer from this. Especially young trees have a low survival.

Winter feeding reduces the problem but does not fix it.

For example, wolves or hunting are effective.

Think about it.

A large predator population needs what? Many prey animals as food. As long as there is enough prey, the predators multiply even more. But there aren’t enough offspring in the prey. And they also need food that quickly becomes scarce in an area with many animals.
