I wanted to withdraw money from the Sparkasse bank. When I entered my PIN, the ATM screen displayed "Your card has been retained for security reasons." What security reasons could there be? I didn't do anything unusual.

The problem is that PayPal already considers my account linked because it automatically links all cards in online banking at once….
Can denk have different reasons, mostly but if anything doesn’t fit in the account and you don’t get in touch with the bank / they can’t reach you otherwise or there’s suspicion of criminal machinations regarding the card or account… (may also be that someone just knows your IBAN and some other account details and the card has been blocked.) Or the machine does not spin that would of course be so optimal. It may also be that you have already received a new one or come very soon and this one has now been brought into your safety.
