Was that stupid (smoking)?
So, I'm 18 and smoked from July 2022 until a week and a half ago. I lost interest in smoking anymore; it was/is becoming too expensive for me, and I didn't like the taste anymore.
Today, for whatever reason, I briefly felt the urge to smoke again, so I bought some cigarettes again. I smoked one, and it didn't bring the "pleasure" I had hoped for. I smoked three more because I didn't want to waste the money. Of course, I didn't smoke them back to back.
But then it got so disgusting that I really didn't feel like it anymore and I destroyed the cigarettes because it finally clicked.
Do you think that was stupid? Or rather, what do you think about it?

You think that was stupid? – jein… but in any case reckless, because in many, this is the direct way (back) into the addiction.
But you have the great luck you noticed that smoking gives you nothing (more) and you don’t care… always think about it in the future when you come back to the idea “now I could…”
And another tip: if you come back to this situation, you’d rather buy a (nicotine-free multiway) E cigarette… they’re far healthier than tobacco smoke and also not addictive, but satisfy the “I need what I hold in my hand and where I can pull and what produces inhalable” 🙂
That was very good what you did. So much like I did, I secretly smoked and noticed that I’m getting uncomfortable, I threw the remaining cigarettes into the garbage can.
All right! Don’t buy anymore. If you had smoked the box to the end, it might not have been the last.
It would be stupid if you don’t want to do yourself, but still want to do it again. I don’t see any shame when you notice that smoking is a bad thing. In the meantime, the tobacco tax is so high that I can buy something for grilling.
