Was that the same person in Despicable Me 2?
My fiancé and I just watched the film and then at the end during the scene with Lucy and Gru's wedding a person appeared (the person standing with Shannon, i.e. Shannon with whom Gru had the stupid date) and this person looks extremely similar to someone.
In a previous scene in the mall, a woman was briefly taken away by her overwhelmed and astonished husband and brought to the dance floor of this exotic restaurant.
But the man in the suit standing with Shannon at the wedding and the astonished man in the mall looked alike. Extremely similar. As if they were the same figure, just from the front and back. But the same hairstyle, the same type/style, the same waistline.
I only realized this when my fiancé said it. He was like, "Wait, isn't that the man who was separated from his wife before?"
I was like, did they break up and is he with Shannon now?
But why would they have separated?

My first thought : Why didn’t you just kiss when this scene was running? 🤣
My 2nd thought : What’s wrong with your husband that doesn’t seem like that…. in a cartoon….with irresponsible many people….very colourful people…. in a completely insane side action with rapidly changing, very volatile and unconscious, IMPORTANT images….????
My 3rd thought : Hopefully nix will be on TV again this weekend because I want to watch this movie again…. because MIR has lost this scene and the possible connection so far…. 😉
ABER : My theory would be….if someone puts me off somewhere or “forget about it” because I’m annoying, then I’m looking for something else…or I’m glad to be found away….why not hidden in the animation film?!

Yeah, I know him, I’ve probably seen him 10x, but I’ve never been paying attention to this scene… so never noticed the similarity. That’s why I have to look at the stop again 😊
