Want to try a vegan diet for a week?

Hello, I'm 16 and wanted to ask because I want to go vegan for a week during the Christmas holidays and whether there are anything I need to pay attention to, e.g. proteins, nutrients and carbohydrates.

for just a week you don’t need to pay attention to a lot, actually just that on all foods you take to you, vegan is standing. I would also recommend you try many vegan dishes and recipes.
But if you want to take care of it and want to continue to feed vegans after one week (which would be really great)

Why isn’t fruit vegan?
1. Fruit shines through beeswax, lice and shrimp shells. Not everything that shines is also gold, often there is quite clear animal suffering behind it. In particular, shell fruits such as apples, peaches, melons, pears and various citrus fruits such as oranges are covered with beeswax or shellac.

Vegetable products such as vegetables, fruit, cereals and legumes produced with animal fertilizers are therefore not vegan. For their production, ground carcasses were used and thus indirectly financially supported the meat industry.

But:
Pay attention to the abbreviation E901 (bee wax) and E904 (schel lacquer). Vegan Tip: Avoid fruit that shines unnatural or buy best organic fruit. Biofruits must not be aftertreated.

Go ahead. There is no need to keep in mind for a week. That’s not enough for symptoms of deficiency.

Even during the Christmas season you can live well vegan! There are many recipes for vegan roasts, vegan roulettes, etc… And for example, I make this Christmas so that if I go to my grandma, I just cook myself before and take it along, then there is no extra effort for them 🙂
