When should you clean your drinking bladder?

Hello, I went hiking with my class yesterday around 4 p.m. and filled my hydration bladder in my backpack. This morning, or rather, just now, I noticed that there's still some water in it. Is it enough if I replace it, or do I need to clean the entire bladder now?

Depending on what you did. If it was just water, I wouldn’t worry. Just change.

Basically, I only fill water in my drinking bubble. After a tour, it can take one or two days until I cleared the backpack so far that I can “clean” it. It is then rinsed out briefly with fresh water and placed with the aid of an empty kitchen paper roll in such a way that the walls of the drinking bubble are not in contact with one another for drying.

Hi.

I always clean the whole bubble, or rinse it with water, dry it from inside and outside and leave it open. However, it should still be enough today if you simply empty it and dry it.

I hope I could help you, dear regards Lotti3516
