Um sicher zu gehen – insbesondere wenn du damit (noch) keine Erfahrung hast – solltest du bei “b” schneiden.
Wichtig dabei ist, dass du von oben nach unten schneidest und nicht von Seite zu Seite.
Wenn es sich einrichten lässt und du mit deinem Hund ohnehin zum Tierarzt musst, dann übernimmt man dort auch gerne die Krallenpflege für dich – das ist im Zweifel besser, als wenn du deinen Hund verletzt.
Auf keinen Fall mehr als b. Wenn du bei a schneidest könntest du den Hund verletzen. Das rosane bei der Kralle ist der durchblutete Teil und a ist zu nah an dem durchbluteten Teil.
Zwischen a und b ist es richtig. Immer mind 1mm vom rosa Teil lassen!!
Wenn du unsicher bist kannst du es wie b schneiden. Es wird hier eher nichts passieren

Das dunkle könnte ein Blutgefäß sein. Falls du schneidest dann weit entfernt davon, also Stückchen vor b noch.
Bei hellen Krallen hilft das Durchleuchten mit einer Taschenlampe.
Ich schneide sie immer wie bei b. Bei a hätte ich die Sorge den Hund zu verletzen.
Sorry, ist zwar jetzt nicht hilfreich, aber ein Hund hat Krallen und keine Klauen. 😉
