If you have sent a wire transfer online in 1930 (where the internet has not yet been), you have to try again today 2020, which I do not think the bank can remember what has been 90 years ago.

Normally a bank transfer needs 1-3 days if there is no weekend or holiday in between.

Which bank to which bank?

For normal transfers, there is usually a closing date until the transfer orders have to be received so that they can be forwarded on the same day.

19:30 a.m. should have been after this closing period so that the transfer was only forwarded today and therefore may not arrive at the recipient until 28.12.

However, it also comes to the banks involved – within the same bank or banking group it can e.g. also go significantly faster.

What savings bank? There are almost 400 different savings banks with different regulations.

By the way, the Bundesbank specifies that submissions are possible by 20 o’clock in the last processing window of the SEPA-Clearer. Probably the closing time of your savings bank is matched. (If this is true for other savings banks, I do not know.)

The Sparkasse Vorpommern specifies in its price and performance directory (Chapter A) as a closing date for orders in online banking 19:45, so the transfer could have been forwarded yesterday and arrive today.

You made a transfer in 1930?

It should have been here by now!

That would have been in Reichsmark, but it is no longer valid.
