Joar, AI and hardware requirements are so that you can throw away everything older than 2020.

I think Windows 12 will come out with version 25h2.

Psssst: When I open winver.exe there is already 25h2 😉

spekulation: Windows 12 comes out next year and Microsoft puts in a bunch of AI features, and it is no longer called Windows 12 but Windows AI

the AI dystopia comes earlier than expected…

Not next year. Next year comes the end of life of windows 10 and lots of users will use windows 11, I can’t imagine that microsoft is already working on a new operating system.
I can imagine the case with windows AI or AI very well because Microsoft has not been very consistent with the designation of operating systems until now

Don’t be surprised. But Windows is going down the stream completely anyway. The Linux user rates are not for nothing higher than never – and rising.

The Windows 7 control system will probably remain inside.

Hopefully not, because it doesn’t need anyone and is an unnecessary and annoying old load that greatly restricts progress and could eventually mean the end of Windows.

I tap Windows 365 virtually as a terminal server with its own data completely from the cloud.
