Forest fire protection?

What does that mean?

§ 24

Forest fire protection

(1) Everyone is obliged to cooperate in the prevention and control of forest fires and to comply with the orders of the Forestry Office.

(2) In the forest and at a distance of less than 100 metres from the forest, fires may only be lit and maintained or open flames used with the permission of the Forestry Office.

(3) Paragraph 2 shall not apply to

1.Persons who own the forest or who have a right of use to it,

2.Persons employed in the forest,

3. Persons authorized to hunt when hunting,

4.Persons carrying out officially ordered or approved work,

5. the lighting and maintenance of fires in a fireplace established or approved by the Forestry Office,

6. the lighting and maintenance of fire in a facility that has been approved by the authorities, in particular under building or commercial law,

7.Barbecuing on land adjacent to the forest with permitted residential development.

(4) Smoking is prohibited in the forest. Burning or smoldering objects may not be discarded or otherwise handled carelessly in the forest or within 100 meters of the forest.

What does that mean? Paragraph 2? That means if someone owns a forest cabin, they're allowed to have a barbecue or a campfire. You need a permit for that, too, because paragraph 2 says it doesn't apply to the points listed above.

The exception for forest owners, beneficiaries and agents, etc. shall apply to activities in this context, e.g. b. the burning of rice infested with borrowed beetle…

To use this exception for private barbecues is certainly not the purpose of the law…

In addition, the forest owner has the greatest interest in not coking his own forest…

And if by improper handling, what happened to him – exception back or back – it’s still stuck…

approved housing.

This is usually referred to as a house / cottage.

Hunting huts are usually not approved as a residential house or cottage and are intended for hunting only.

Barbecue huts and celebrations, in public hands are meant in 2. They can be used by everyone if they get permission.

3 is the property of the one who wants to celebrate barbecues. He’s allowed without permission. However, just like 2 have to adhere to public order.
