The outputs (i.e., for example, number of eyes 1, 7 or 12) are all of the same probability; there is thus a Laplace experiment.

The probability for an event A is then calculated by:

a) here you calculate the two probabilities according to the above formula

(b) You have to re-form the two events so that the number of favorable results is the same in both events. For example:

Event A) Number of eyes not more than 6;

Event B) Number of eyes at least 7
