Wachtel legt 2 Eier hintereinander – wie?
Hallo, als ich heute das Wasser gewechselt habe (Wobei ich auch auch alle Eier eingesammelt habe), habe ich mich danack noch kurz neben den Stall gesetzt und die kleinen beobachtet.
Eine der Wachteln hat leider etwas schmerzen beim Eierlegen, weshalb sie etwas schreit bei der Eiablage. Diese Wachtel legt auch nur in Nester (was ja etwas untypisch für wachteln ist).
Nachdem ich sie kurz kreischen hörte, blieb sie aber im Nest sitzen und kurze Zeit später hörte ich das kreischen nochmal, worauf sie in den Freilauf lief. Direkt danach lagen im Nest 2 Eier, welche beide noch sehr warm waren, auch die Musterung sieht mehr nach dieser einen Wachtel aus. Die anderen Waren alle im Freilauf. Wie geht das?

then I can only congratulate, under optimal conditions a guard can lay a guard every 16 – 20 hours, that is to say in some cases even 2 guardians daily. Apparently you feed very high quality food and the light is optimal. It doesn’t have to mean anything when you’re laying eggs.
