I bought a VW RCD 360 on eBay. I've now installed it, and when I try to activate Bluetooth on the radio, I get a message saying that the ignition needs to be turned on, even though the engine is already running.
Luckily, I paid with PayPal buyer protection because the seller hadn't responded to my PayPal account regarding the issue. I've now opened a case with PayPal, and the seller is writing via PayPal that he noticed that a control unit on the adapter had "fallen off" and that he would send it to someone else. I have the feeling this is just a waste of time.
Because I think the problem is just a specific contact for the radio. But since I don't want to be fooled, I wanted to know if he's right or not.
