VW 1.6 TDI 300,000 km?

Hi, I currently have a Volkswagen Passat 3BG 1.9 TDI and the engine is now at the end of its life.

I'm currently looking for a Golf 6 because it fits well into my budget and there's a 2010 Golf with the 1.6 Tdi engine and 105 hp nearby.

The offer sounds good (second hand, serviced by VW, etc.)

Nevertheless, the car has already run almost 294,000 km and I wonder how much longer the engine will last. According to the papers, the car is well maintained and makes a good overall impression both technically and visually, but do you think the engine can last another 50,000-100,000 km?
