VRR additional ticket?
I don't understand the additional ticket. I have purchased a Ticket1000 price level A2 and would now like to travel to Düsseldorf and also Duisburg (on different days). Normally, ie without an additional ticket, I need a ticket of price level C for these routes. I come from Mönchengladbach.
On the website it says that the additional ticket can upgrade my monthly ticket from BIS TO price level E? What does that mean now? The up to is very annoying.
The fare conditions are misleading. It talks about a time limit depending on the price level of the monthly ticket. In my case 90 minutes.
What applies and how? Can I use the streetcar with the ticket as well as the train to Düsseldorf?

An additional ticket applies in conjunction with your ticket 1000 for a trip up to the price level E (= entire VRR), which naturally includes the prei steps B, C and D.
You can also switch to bus and tram, but not drive back and forth as desired.
You can go to Ddorf, Duisburg odet Dortmund with the additional ticket.
If you have a monthly ticket A2, you can drive in the city area from your city.
With the additional ticket you can really drive in the entire VRR room (by level E). This is the only way to get to Emmerich, Kleve, Dortmund or Düsseldorf.
According to Düsseldorf-Mitte/Nord (43), the price level C, Duisburg Mitte/Süd (33) would be the same as the bar ticket.
With the additional ticket, you can also use the tram and buses in Düsseldort to reach the destination address.
As a fist formula for the period of validity, you can take the time period used for the normal ticket. This is what VRR says, but it does not offer information in brochures and web pages.
For example: MG to D would be level C, so you can be on the move for up to 3 hours. That is, you have this time to get to the destination straight away. If after, for example, Benrath, keep from the farm accordingly. A way around or a tour in time is not allowed.

The additional ticket is valid for the journey to any destination within the VRR.
There is no problem to change, only round and back rides are not allowed.
