Interview for training as a horse manager?
Hello, I'd like to know what kind of questions are asked in an interview for an apprenticeship as a horse trainer or similar, or how the interview generally goes. Perhaps someone can share some from experience. That would be very helpful. Thanks in advance 🙂
Well, as with many other trainings also: what makes you move, why should the company take you, in the case: what kind of horses you have worked so far, what can you prove, and and and.
An interview also serves to see if it fits each other.
One asks the knowledge of horses, depending on the subject, and would like to know whether you will be in the vocational school, and would like to see whether you will be able to withstand the requirements in terms of character and physical constitution.
I have seen it in such a way that, as with other professions, one sat vis a vis in the office, but is entertained while looking at the company. They also remember how you meet the horses and people who walk over you.
they want to see your practical assessments.
without several internships or at least a long-term internship, you have hardly any chances at a training place, they show you the operation and let you tell and ask.
and despite previous long-term internships and people who know what to do with them, the horse farmer, together with the chefs, roofers and bakers, is among the trainings with the highest drop-off rates.
I had this before me a few months ago, with me it was more like that my chat had designed it more so, friendly, then much easier for me, he asked how: “How much experience do you have with horses?” I:, ____ Years (you can say that you have your own horse or RB).
Then there were questions like: why do you want to do exactly this job?” I: because the work with horses makes me much fun, and I like to help at home in the stable,
Then he said, “What are you doing?” Then I said my activities, in nd we agreed an appointment for an internship.
Believe in you and Gin like to decide how it was <3
Thank you
