From vegetarian to pescetarian diet?

Hello,

I've been a vegetarian for about two years now. A few weeks ago, I considered eating meat again, but then only fish (for health reasons). I read extensively about how it's raised and what happens to the environment and came across an organic salmon from Norway that's free of antibiotics and other toxic substances, and the fish are also kept in very good conditions.

But somehow I have this feeling that I've screwed up.

You didn’t “catch” it. It’s great if you care about animal welfare. You can also find out what fish it was really good. I think you can eat that fish.

It is absolutely unnecessary to eat fish. If you don’t care about the taste or pleasure, just leave it.

For health reasons, it is not very meaningful. I think you could find out if this is really necessary and whether Norwegian salmon is exactly what you need. Otherwise you won’t.

What exactly is it? Vegan, vegetarian, or anything else is just a diet, no performance or award.

If you eat vegetarian for ethical reasons, I don’t understand why you’re planning to eat fish again. You say it should be for health reasons. But there is no nutrient in fish that you cannot also get from herbal foods. When it comes to omega 3 fatty acids, you can eat walnuts, linseed or linseed oil or algae.

Of course, at the end of the day, it’s your decision what you eat, and no one can force you or forbid you. But keep in mind that you can still decide the animals can’t. And fish are also very sensitive, feeling creatures that do not want to be killed.

If you have no health complaints, I think there is no reason to eat fish again. Especially since you can see where you can get the nutrients elsewhere.
