Ich reise in 7 Wochen nach Thailand. Das ist meine erste Fernreise allein. Deshalb zu meiner Frage:
Während meines Urlaubs werden die Noten für mein Staatsexamen telefonisch verkündet. Das heißt, ich müsste nach Deutschland telefonieren. Nun weiß ich aber nicht, ob und wie das funktioniert mit einer Thai-SIM.

Der texanische Führerschein kostet nur 33$. Im Vergleich zum deutschen Führerschein, der 2000€ oder mehr kostet, ist das ein Schnäppchen. Außerdem ist der texanische Führerschein in den Farben von Texas und hat die Form von Texas mit der texanischen Flagge als Hintergrund. Ich finde ihn wunderschön: Ich frage mich, wo der texanische Führerschein gültig ist….

The default for Germany is from Thailand from 001 49 (not 00 49!) or +49. However, the 009 49 is much cheaper. At about 7 Baht/minute, it costs about one third of what you have to pay for the standard code.

Better take the 009 49. Costs only about one third of what it costs over +49 and the quality is usually equally good.
