Swallow Vomex to sleep better?

I haven't been able to sleep well lately. I wanted to ask if it would be a good idea to take vomex. They're supposed to be for nausea, but the side effect is that you feel tired and sleep better.

Vomex contains dimenhydrinate which basically corresponds to diphenhydramine, but in another (not one-to-one) ratio. Diphenhydramine can be found in receptor-free sleeping media. Diphenhydramine as well as dimenhydrinate are older H1 anti-histamines which are suitable for short-term(!) Insomnia and sleep disorders can be used. Thus, the thought is not so divisive. However, the use is hardly recommended due to the strongly anticholinergic side effects and the resulting risks (although not in the long term!). First of all, it would be important to understand the exact causes of insomnia and to initiate appropriate measures. Alternatively, lavender, hops, melatonin, globuli etc. are available.

No. There’s melatonin for this or even free-commercial sleeping pills.
