Determine volume integral limits?

Hello everyone,

I have a general question about volume integrals, especially of bodies that arise when rotating around the z-axis.
How can one generally determine the limits for multiple integration?
I searched a lot on Google and YouTube, but never found what I needed.
For example, I have a function whose graph is rotated around the Z axis. Now I'm using cylindrical coordinates, but what are the limits?
Thanks in advance!

You’re the one who gives the limits. You think, what do I want to calculate? And you set the limits accordingly.

Here are examples: https://fbmathe.bbs-bingen.de/IntegralCalculation/Rotation Volume.htm

So for the first time in which coordinates you best calculate an integral one, should be determined by the problem, not always cylinder coordinates are a good choice. If the transformation into cylinder coordinates simplifies integration, the boundaries naturally come to the problem and what you want to calculate exactly there. Don’t you have a concrete example?
