This depends on the savings account model. If it is a savings book with legal notice, you can cancel it if the subject is not in the room.

But you won’t find out that concretely without going there.

if it is a SB-saving account (i.e. with savings account extracts without savings book) you can redeem it at any time – in the branch – or by moving in from your current bank – or by letter order (don’t forget your legitimation)

if a savings account has been issued and there is no longer available, the resolution only goes with a loss message – usually associated with a fee

if the Volksbank does not have any further accounts after dissolution, ask and delete or leave them in due time for the release order

FALLS there is a savings account, the Volksbank can of course determine if you can prove yourself.
