Vitamin D deficiency, tablets?

Hello everyone,

A few months ago, I was in a day clinic where I was diagnosed with depression and a vitamin D deficiency. During that time, I was also given vitamin D tablets.

I also had a small supply of them at home, which have now run out.

My question now is whether I can get these paid for by my health insurance due to the shortage and how I should go about it. Can I just get them prescribed by my family doctor, for example?

Thanks for the answers. 🙂

Hello..go to your family doctor and ask for a vitamin level based on the statement of the daily clinic.

If the D game and other vitamins are not in a reasonable range, it is prescribed as substitution / at the expense of the health insurance.

I’d ask the Housedoc. There you only get vitamin D, the cofactors are missing. So take magnesium, K, A and E. with oil/fat. How does your iron level look? And keep on your proteins that form hormones (among others) – keyword serotonin. Good improvement!

The sun cannot fill up a low D mirror. This statement is bullshit

You always have to pay for vitamins yourself.
