Visa for the USA…strange reason?

Good morning,

I'll probably apply for a visa to fly to the USA. Unfortunately, ESTA isn't possible with my nationality.

I'm just flying to the US to attend a wrestling show. Is that a legitimate reason? Should I also tell them that it's a big show and I plan to buy a very expensive ticket in the front rows?

It follows that you need to apply for a visa. The B 1/2 visa.

The consulates in Berlin, Frankfurt or Munich are responsible for you,

The show doesn’t concern the authorities. You want to travel as a tourist. That counts.

It is important that you can prove your willingness to return when applying for your visa.

examples of ties can be a job, house, family, and bank account. “Ties” are the various aspects of the visa applicant’s life that bind the applicant to his or her homeland. These might include assets, a job, children, a spouse, elderly parents, a business, or health-related concerns. Source

So, apartment, job, spouse, children, fortune, etc.
Be careful with social media.

A post: “Moving to the USA”, which the official gets to be sought, lets your chances fall to zero.

Yeah, that’s a legitimate reason for a tourist visa.

If you show the ticket for the show and the return ticket when you arrive, you should not get any problems.

They just want to make sure you leave the US again and don’t stay illegal.

Visiting the country is not harmful, but wanting to stay there is very good.

With an immigration visa or a green card, this is not a problem. 💁🏼

No flight/tickets booking before the visa is issued.
It’s Homeland Security. You can’t take the tickets as proof of the willingness to return.

  • There is no guarantee you will be issued a visa. Do not make final the plans or buy tickets until you have a visa.

It is legally possible, yes, but I mean it is not desirable.
