Virtual cam is not recognized in obs?

Hello dear friends,

I recently bought a camera and would now like to use it for OBS and Discord simultaneously. For this, I need the Virtual Cam plugin. However, when I download it and open OBS, an error message always appears stating that I need to update or remove the plugin.

I use Windows 11 and suspect that it doesn't work

However, in Discord, I'm already seeing OBS virtual cam. But then I just see the OBS logo with a blue background.

Does anyone know more or can help me?

Do you have the latest version of OBS? In recent OBS versions older plugins no longer work. By the way, Virtual Cam is included in the latest OBS versions by default, you don’t have to install it separately.

To use your camera in Discord and OBS at the same time, OBS can choose as a Virutal Cam and then use it in Discord OBSVC.
