A Vinted seller is shipping the item differently than agreed. What should I do?

I recently bought a pair of pants on Vinted and made it very clear to the seller that I wanted insured shipping. She then charged me €6.99, to which I then asked for insured shipping for €5.49, since it's just a pair of pants.

She agreed, but she sent me the receipt. I entered the tracking number in the app and saw that she sent it as a priority letter, which of course isn't insured either.

What can I do? She's stopped responding to my messages. I paid with PayPal, and the package had already been dropped off at the store. Otherwise, I probably would have already asked for my money back, as I've been scammed several times on Vinted by being told that the post office lost the shipment.

Are you about the money or the pants you can track where the package is?
If it’s lost it doesn’t matter if it’s insured or not, you’ll never see the pants again. That you want to have the money back in this case, I can understand, but that’s a completely different thing.

I don’t know how extensive the review is after Vinted, but you can talk calmly that there were clear problems in communication that have insecure you as a client.

You can’t have sent a package to DHL unsafe. All packages at DHL are fully insured. Then you sent a package, that’s insecure, and was not clever of you.

The shipping costs include not only the fees for shipping itself, but also packaging or also the way to the mail. I wouldn’t open a barrel.

Read your question again – it is contradictory. But what I hear is that you want to open a barrel for 2-3 euros. Don’t worry, it’s not worth the stress and effort.

Oh, then you’re talking about not being insured. In this case, you can’t change anything. It’s a pants, it’s gonna be in one piece.

When the pants arrive, you’re asking for the extra charge you paid but didn’t get back.

I’ve handled Vinted so easily. 🤷🏼

As a result, even in the case of private purchases, it carries the risk of sending. If she asked you too much money, she’ll have to refund the extra money.
