Vinted fraud and Paypal?
Hello, yesterday after making a purchase on Vinted I had the feeling that the profile I bought it from seemed suspicious. The person didn't mark the item as purchased after I bought it, so I looked at the reviews on the profile. Some of the profiles are blocked and some have fake profile pictures. I then asked a friend if he could make the person I bought it from an offer to see if they would still resell the item even though I had bought it. The person replied to my friend and said it was still available. – 1 picture attached. Luckily I paid with Paypal via goods and services. So I tried to contact the person and asked if I could get my money back (because that's what Paypal suggests) – 2 pictures attached. She didn't reply to this message. What should I do next? Should I wait, because with Paypal you have the option to report a problem and there you have to explain why you're reporting it and there you have the option to say you didn't receive the item.
Best regards and thanks in advance!
Payment by PayPal goods & services you can log into your PayPal account (on PC, not via the app!) and there after the expected delivery period Buyer protection case open, that goes up to 180 days after purchase :
Click: Open buyer protection case
If the seller does not provide shipping and delivery proof you usually get the money back from PayPal.
But PayPal alone decides, no one else.
But consider that You of § 447 BGB in the case of a private purchase from the date on which the seller has transferred the consignment to the shipping service provider:

So you should be interested in dispatch followed and of course have paid for it.
Oh yes, of course you should even when you opened the PayPal account, otherwise the shot goes back.
Thank you. How long should I wait to pass the expected delivery period. Because I was no longer answered if and when the package is sent (it is not anyway).
You will notice this as soon as you open the buyer protection case.
And no hurry, as I said, you have 180 days.
Who?
PayPal is not responsible for this.
The person also uses photos from other users, which is not allowed… should you report this…?
Yeah, you should give the seller some time.
And before submitting the expected delivery time, you cannot open a case.
Thank you. So it is recommended to wait a bit before opening the buyer protection at all right? Because I was “scammed” only yesterday.
I would immediately use the buyer protection at PP if the person states that the product you bought is still there…you will notice the intentions that the person had. I wouldn't wait a second at your place.
Where exactly do you do
You will not go to the transaction (ie to your Paypal account and then click on where the post was listed as deducted) then stands below "problem reporting" and then you can go to the conflict resolution and describe the problem….the seller then has 2 weeks time to take a stand when there are no meaningful arguments (hang your screenshots from the chat with you and write it all right in the text box what has happened).
The person also uses photos from other users, which is not allowed… should you report this…?
Oh, thank you.
When reporting on problem, it automatically runs through the conflict resolution 🙂 that is the same.
Thank you. What would the difference between conflict resolution and the problem be reported, because there it is so that one simply has to call the reason why one wants to report the conflict?
if nothing else comes from the person, I would reclaim the money through buyer protection. As long as you have not paid by friends & family, everything should go well
Greetings

Thank you. How exactly do you do that? About Paypal Report problem?
If you do this through the app, go to “Last Activities” and select the transactions you want to report. There you scroll down and select “Report Problem”. Then just give the type of problem and few relevant details and press on Send.

Thank you, it's just enough to suspect fraud? Because she didn't have the chance to send it because I was immediately suspicious of her
