Vinted scammers?

Hello, I was scammed on Vinted, and now the scammer has deleted all his accounts, including my PayPal email and Vinted account. I paid through family and friends. I know that was stupid, and the amount I paid was under €50. Are the police even interested in cases like this anymore, and can the scammer be caught? If I file a report, it will come to nothing, right?

Hach yes, PayPal “Family & Friends” again…

Menno, do you never learn it?!?

Of course, you can show the guy at the police – only for this reason to make the act more proficient, because who knows how many of you still fell on him! Of course, you can write the money into the chimney.

At PayPal I would be cautious in your place anyway – at least you don’t like it too much if “Family & Friends” purchases are paid.

And if you should also be part of those clientele that made himself “respectful” older than it is in reality, I’d rather keep my feet still, because that likes PayPal much less!

I don’t know that for sure, because I’ve never bought anything about it. But I think Vinted should cooperate with the police…

Your payment by PayPal Family and Friends you have in the sense of PayPal yes Money gift made only for a family member or a friend and thus very conscious for your buyer protection; and you have also brought PayPal to the normally due fees.

PayPal will therefore not help you in any way because of your violation of their terms of use, which can even help you out if they do not make it soon due to your minority.

Hello I’m not 18…

You can, of course, reimburse ad, but yourself where: the perpetrator should be determined, which is extremely unlikely, then you have not yet returned your money:

That’s what you can do civil law request or claim, cost risk with you.

As an alternative, you could also Adhesive procedures apply.

“I paid for family and friends.”

Well, without wanting to be mean….

People don’t learn anything else. For decades it has never been preached to pay by F and F because there is no protection. But apparently it doesn’t fertilize.

By the way, you must not expect any help from PP because you have committed yourself consciously by paying a merchandise and service via f&F and thus have brought PP to its provision.

You can’t expect any help from Vinted.
Not only Paypal, but also Vinted, you used illegally.
Vinted and PayPal => both is basically only from 18J allowed – without exception.

Hard to say, you can try it, but much hopes to see the money back didn’t have to do you

That’s what they’re called to pay for. The money is gone — forever.

It’s bitter for you, but I hope you learn from it.

You used PayPal as well as Vinted illegally and violated the most important rules of the AGB.

Both are basically only from 18J allowed – without exception.

The gifted money is irretrievably gone and counts that further consequences will follow.

Why would it interest the police if you give friends money?

As I understood, friends and family borrowed money to help him with a vented payment, but now the sales person has disappeared and it is

No. He forbade a purchase with Paypal “Friends & Family”.
