Vinted removed what to do?
Hi guys, I have a question for you,
I bought a hoodie from a user on Vinted. I sent him the money via instant bank transfer because he didn't want to sell through PayPal because he would have had to pay taxes. Unfortunately, the package was sent to the wrong address. I contacted him about it, and he said he would take care of it. So far, everything's fine.
Unfortunately, he was banned from Vinted that same day, and the chat between us was deleted. I've been trying to contact him with 0.01 cent messages via his bank account since September 13th, but so far, no response.
Do you think I should still go to the police or wait because DHL couldn't give me any information due to data protection.

Ja, du solltest zur Polizei gehen. Über die Bankverbindung ist er ja aufzufinden. Besser geht nicht!
sorry, die Bankverbindung ist keine Garantie für die Ermittlung des Kontoinhabers. Musste ich selbst vor ein paar Wochen erfahren. Habe an ein Konto der Postbank (DE….) überwiesen. Der Inhaber war lt. Mitteilung der Staatsanwaltschaft nicht zu ermitteln.
Ich fürchte, das läuft darauf hinaus, dass Du am Ende weder Geld noch Ware hast. Aber viel Glück
Die Polizei bringt dir dein Geld nicht wieder. Was dich um die Erfahrung reicher macht, dass du bei Vinted nicht per Überweisung kaufen solltest. Paypal oder sein lassen.
