System:

7800x3d

RX 7900XT

Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX

32 GB RAM

Be Quiet 750W

It seems that you have taken some steps to diagnose the problem, but it is possible that the problem is deeper. Here are some additional steps that you could do to fix error:

  1. Check the power supply: Make sure all power cables are properly connected and that the power supply provides enough power for your components. A weak or defective power supply can lead to instabilities, especially if the graphics card is under load.
  2. Check the graphics card for visible damage: Check the graphics card to ensure that there are no visible damages such as broken fans or damaged connections.
  3. Try another graphics card: If possible, exchange the graphics card for another to see if the problem continues. This could help to determine whether the problem is related to the graphics card itself or to other components in the system.
  4. Update the drivers: Make sure you have installed the latest drivers for your graphics card and other hardware components. Outdated or faulty drivers can cause problems.
  5. Check the temperatures: Even if the graphics card was only warm, check the temperatures of all components in the system to ensure that there is no overheating. Use a monitoring program such as HWMonitor or MSI afterburner.
  6. Test the system outside the housing: Sometimes short circuits or problems with the housing can lead to malfunctions. Try to operate the system outside the housing to see if the problem continues.

If none of these steps solves the problem, it might be advisable to contact the manufacturer’s customer support or to have the system checked by an experienced technician.

Probably you have become victim of the motherboard dead by AMD 7800x3D processor.

Look here:

https://www.pcwelt.de/article/1795825/amd-ryzen-7800x3d-burnt-through.html

PS: Build the processor and watch it. The burnt place is clearly visible.

The error , at least for Asus, was fixed by a Bios update. The update limits the voltage to 1.3 Volt.

Keep asking if your bios were up to date.

If you don’t find a burned place, you might have been lucky.
