Find a missing family member?
Hello, my dears,
I have a very large family and I can hardly remember the names anymore 😅 but something crazy did happen back then that now leaves me with questions and I would like to find a missing person. My grandfather's brother ran away sometime 50 years ago. Unfortunately I don't know the exact reasons and I don't really believe my grandfather either. He thinks his brother went to America, but that's just an assumption. I'm really interested in what his character is like and whether he would be interested in getting in touch again (+assuming he's alive).
Since I sometimes don't get along so well with my family, maybe he's someone who at least understands me.
Now back to the question for the experts here 😀
How is it possible to find a (long) missing person who could live in a completely different country?
You can use a Information from the register to get in:
https://service.duesseldorf.de/search/egov-bis-detail/service/221/show
If he has duly re-enrolled or cancelled, the city or the (off) country in which he is drawn is noted.
Classical:
Explore and search the network for its name.
Anders:
If you have the right people in the right position, that’s what happened in a few minutes. If my uncle wants, he always knows where he is.
It becomes difficult abroad. You can then register for this in corresponding TV shows.

Otherwise you have to hire an investigator. It doesn’t matter.
Another option is paid “another search pages”. There his relatives may look for family members or illegitimate children from him. But this is not cheap (you have to complete a subscription) and you have to hope for lucky hits. Some of them work with DNA profiles. It’ll cost something.
If the man left 50 years ago, the good is now almost 80 years old… if he still lives.
Many emigrants find in the distance that many problems come along. It’s actually better to clear them first and then pack the bags.
