Are shipping costs on eBay included in the sales price?

I recently sold a cell phone on eBay and stated that the buyer would have to pay shipping. The phone was sold for €601. Are the shipping costs already included in the amount I ultimately receive, or how does it work on eBay? Do I have to create the shipping label myself through eBay so that shipping is "free" for me? If I run to the post office now, do I have to pay the shipping costs?

Whether and how much shipping costs, possibly also with different transporters, which the buyer can then choose, are already available when creating the inventory.

If the order has been made, the price for the (selected) shipping type of ebay is automatically set to the sales price and is payable by the buyer.

If you choose “free” when shipping (that would have liked ebay, it can be that it is automatically chosen if you do not enter anything else here), or “only pick-up” will of course not be calculated when selling, and you must pay the shipping label yourself if necessary.

If you have only received the price of the goods, you probably have selected nothing from the shipping options or something wrong. Or the buyer “collection”.

You need to specify what you’re taking for shipping beforehand. If you were given free of charge, you will receive the shipping costs.

That should have been computed by the system. Then write to the buyer that the shipping costs are still missing.
