Hello TomStiefl,

in a 30s zone, according to my knowledge, there are no zebra strips or pedestrian lights, so you have to count on pedestrians crossing the road. In addition, the 30th zone is considered to be a traffic-sustained area. You have to count more on thresholds, traffic islands and other speed-regulating measures.

Best regards

No! There are signs 325.1 (starting traffic calmed area)!

But don’t come to me with Spielstraße – because this would be sign 250 in conjunction with additional sign 1010-10…

That’s not quite right. pedestrian crossings are essential at tempo-30 cycles, but may be set up in special cases if necessary.

Pedestrian lights in 30’s zones, which were set up before 2000, also enjoy protection against stocks (45 para. 1c, last sentence)

On roads with approx. 70 km/h, no pedestrian crossings may be arranged (section 2.1 (1) in the R-FGÜ)

There are no 70s. The zone speed limits go up to a maximum of 30 km/h.

Otherwise you can drive 70 on a road with zHg 70, not in the 30-zone.

No, in the 30’s zone, you can’t drive 70 and not 30 in the 70’s zone, otherwise you’re impeding the current traffic.
