Yes, since the engine has to keep to operating temperature, it also consumes more electricity. It’s like humans, in winter we burn more calories because the body needs to keep the body temperature.

An electric motor is complete No matter whether it is hot or cold.

Operating temperature in the engine? I’ve never heard. On the contrary, electric motors must not become too hot.

Lithium-ion batteries have only a very limited temperature spectrum for the optimal function of their chemical energy conversion.

If the battery becomes too cold, it can no longer maintain its chemical conversion processes optimally back into electrical energy.

Just ask for questions about problems with smartphones (rechargeable life / battery functions) on cold winter days or in winter sports locations.

Note that you can not put an e-scooter or your battery in a warm pocket.

I think once there’s a Li battery there’s one point until they consume less, and then again more and at even colder they don’t work anymore; as with e.g. handys also

No. e scooters do not consume electricity in winter. When the batteries are cold (below zero), they become empty faster.

Work on the set-up and the law! Nobody understands that.

Conversely. I don’t know exactly why but lithium ion batteries are more efficient at cold.

to a certain point from which they are “dead”

This does not apply to Frost.
